Ajax Facility Information & Rentals

Our facilities are available at reasonable rates for meetings, banquets, weddings, social events, etc. We have something that will suit all your needs.

To book any one of our many facilities, you will need to complete a "Request for Use of Facility" form. You can pick up a copy at the Ajax or McLean Community Centre, or call us and we will fax you a copy. Most facility bookings are done through the Town of Ajax Recreation Services, Administration Offices, located on the second floor of the Ajax Community Centre.

ADDITIONAL INFORMTION:

Banquet Halls:

All deposits are non-refundable. Should written notice be received less than 21 days, only applied insurance and SOCAN fees will be refunded.

Meeting Rooms:

An administration fee of $40.00 (plus HST) will be charged for each cancellation. Should written notice be received less than 21 days, only the insurance and SOCAN will be refunded.

Prices do not include applicable tax, mandatory insurance and SOCAN fees

Bar Requirements:

For all Alcohol Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) functions, certified "Smart Serve" bartenders from the Town's Resource Bank must be utilized at a ratio of 1:130.

Bartender Rate: $15.00/hr./bartender.

Bartender must be on hand 30 minutes prior to and following the functions.

Socan Fees:

Receptions, conventions, assemblies, etc. are required to pay a fee for using CD's, cassettes and tape recordings as a source of music.

The fee is in addition to the hall rates noted and is subject to change.

Special Occasion Permits (S.O.P.)

Issued by the AGCO, S.O.P.'s are mandatory for ALL functions serving alcoholic beverages, including wine.
